Reminders

Sometimes an entry may be assigned to you, but you want to be reminded about it at another date or time. Or perhaps an entry isn't yet assigned but you also just want to be reminded about it at another date.

To do this you use the "Remind Me Later" action. You can access this from the What's Next menu. It brings up the following form:

Here you can select the user (which defaults to yourself) or just a general role to be reminded of the entry. You will also specify the date (which defaults to 1 day from now) and the time.

Note: While the Date field has a date selector dropdown, you can manually enter the time after the date.

You can also enter some notes which will be included in the reminder.

When the reminder comes about, the entry will automatically be assigned to the user or role, and an email alert sent to them.

You can add reminders multiple times, but only if each reminder is for a different user or role. If you select the same user as an existing reminder, it will replace the existing reminder rather than adding another one.
