Creating Work Orders

Work Orders provide comprehensive functionality such as re-assignment, work log, checklists, follow-up and customer sign off. You can easily create a work order from a task in the Planning tab by clicking the "Create Work Order". This then creates a work order under that asset, and links the task to that work order.

Once the work order is complete, it will automatically mark the task as complete also - sending out notifications and performing other processing such as making a milestone complete.

You can also select an existing work order, if the work order was already raised through a service request for instance. You can do this by updating the task and selecting the work order in the "Related Work Order" field. From that point onwards the work order and task will be linked.
