Risk and Contingency Management

Introduction

Security is all about managing risk exposure and contingency. The less exposed your organization is to risk, the more secure it is. The more prepared you are with contingency plans, the better able you'll be to weather such events, and as a result the more reliable your organization will be.

To that end, AssetChief puts risk management front and center of its asset management features.

A great deal of the risk management features in AssetChief rely on the correct configuration of your assets in your asset register. The risk engine uses this information to determine the biggest risks you're facing, and then compiles this into a report that you can access or have sent to you on a regular basis.

Identifying these risks and finding appropriate ways to mitigate them is what constitutes creating and maintaining a contingency plan, which is going to be the key to reducing the risks and increasing security and reliability in your organization.
