Blacklists

On occasion it may be necessary to flag visitors as being banned from entering the premises. This may include terminated employees for example, or people who have been known to cause trouble.

You can do this by going to the Lists > Visitors list. From there, use the magnifying glass icon to search to find a specific visitor (or just browse it manually). Then click the visitor.

Next, click the "Set Blacklist" button.

This will bring up a form letting you specify whether they're blacklisted, and the reason for them being blacklisted.

Once the visitor is blacklisted, then any attempt to check them in to the system will be presented with a message saying they're blacklisted, and providing the reason. You won't be able to check them in until that user's blacklisted status is removed.
