Useful Contacts

The "Useful Contacts" area under the asset is an area to store contacts relevant to the asset. Perhaps this is the contact info of someone you know is able to fix the asset, or perhaps it's someone who can supply new parts.

The Asset Type also has a Useful Contacts, and this may be a better place to put general contacts related to the asset.

Once the contact details are entered, you can see the contact on a map:

And even get directions to the contact by clicking the Directions link inside the Location area:

If you go to the Lists tab, there's a dropdown list called Other Contacts which you can store contact information for any contacts that aren't directly related to a specific asset or asset type.
